2015 ASTRI Industry and University Collaboration Forum

The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) will hold its Industry and University Collaboration Forum (IUCF) on 18 November 2015. This is a free event supported by the Hong Kong Government and is a great opportunity for the Hong Kong Bitcoin community and people working in the fintech and blockchain spaces to meet and get to know other movers and shakers in Hong Kong’s technology industry.

Founded by the HKSAR government in 2000, ASTRI’s mission is to enhance Hong Kong’s competitiveness in technology-based industries through applied research. Our goals include performing innovative R&D for greater technological applications in industries and enhance collaborations among universities, R&D institutions and industries.

About the ASTRI Industry and University Collaboration Forum

ASTRI organizes the IUCF annually to inform current and potential partners about our latest technical developments, solicit suggestions for future R&D projects and cultivate opportunities to establish collaborations. This year, we will be focusing on promoting the following initiatives:

  • FinTech (Cyber Security and Financial Data Analytics)
  • Intelligent Manufacturing
  • Next Generation Network
  • Medical & Health
  • Major Integrated Circuit Development Projects
